Simple POS Pricing

EasyEats supports multiple credit card processors, giving you options. The overall cost per transaction is typically much less than the competitor.

Here is a brief summary:

  1. POS Pricing: 0.95% per transaction (can be capped at $90 per month with yearly plan) plus credit card processor fees.
  2. Credit Card Prcoessing: Choose a vendor that fits your needs. Rates range from 2.39% (With $0.10 per transaction) to 2.65% (with no per transaction charge) for in person transactions.

Monthly Subscriptions and processing fees:

For monthly pricing, Square varies based upon your configuration, but a typical configuration would be:

  • Restaurant Upgrade - $69-$165 per month (This additional fee is almost required for food trucks as without it Square can be difficult to use in a restaurant setting without it)
  • Online ordering Upgrade - $30-$80 per month
  • KDS - $20 per KDS per month

Credit Card Processing Fees:

2.6% + 10¢ per transaction
2.9% + 30¢ per online transaction
3.3% + 30¢ for invoices

Hardware Pricing:

Hardware is very flexible with EasyEats. The hardware is non-proprietary, giving you a choice! Hardware can be obtained from any major retailer, including Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, etc.

Online Ordering

Online ordering is at the core of EasyEats and there is no monthly charge to use it. 

  • Credit card fees vary by processor, but a typical option would be 2.99% + $0.10 per transaction.
  • In house delivery is free.
  • QR Code ordering is free.
  • Online ordering page for your business is free.
  • Invoices are included for no extra charge.

Online ordering can be free, but it is designed for a company that is packing up goods to be shipped. To experience restaurant level online ordering, you need to the online ordering plus or premium plans ($30-$80 per month).

  • Processing fees start at 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction.
  • In house delivery is supported starting at 50 cents per order.
  • QR Code ordering is supported on the paid plans only.
Customer Support

EasyEats has live, American based support for your needs.

Normal support hours are 8am-8pm CST every day of the week.

There is also continuous on call support during non-business hours. You can email, text, or call the support line 24/7 and a customer support specialist will triage your message and help you with your questions in a timely fashion.

Basic Support:

  • Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time (PT)

Premium Support (For Additional Monthly Fee)

  • Available 24/7 for subscribers to $60 a month or above plan.
KDS Screens

No additional charge beyond purchasing the equipment. KDS can be any web enabled device. EasyEats recommends this is a tablet touch screen or larger. But you can even use an iPhone or computer if needed.

You can have unlimited screens in various prep areas within your restaurant/food truck for no additional fees.

Once equipment is purchased, prices start at $20 per month per screen.

Contracts

EasyEats does not require long term commitments to use their POS. 

We do offer a one year contract as an option if a customer wishes to cap their total EasyEats fees at $90 per month. However, this is not required.

Square does not require a contract.
